Sage Psychotherapy's Intensive Treatment Program for Anxiety Disorders, including OCD, is ground-breaking in its integration of traditional behavioral therapy with cutting edge Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Behavioral exposure therapy is effective but people often find it to be very difficult and, therefore, it has a significant drop-out rate.  Not only does ACT compliment exposure therapy but sufferers also report that this approach allows them to experience their anxiety in a way that makes the exposure process easier and more effective than exposure therapy alone. Sage Psychotherapy is the only Intensive Treatment Program for Anxiety Disorders in Northern California to offer weekly individual counseling, family counseling, a weekly support and psychoeducation group for family members, client support groups, and ACT-focused groups. The intensive program is offered during both a daytime and evening track to accommodate different schedules.
