Sage Harbor Advisors, Inc. (“SHA”) was founded in 1997 to provide independent fee-based financial advisory services for high net worth individuals and families. SHA builds custom portfolios by allocating client capital among our four proprietary, risk-managed investment models. Our four models hold a combination of “no-load” institutional class mutual funds and exchange-traded funds. Each client’s investment objectives are clarified and risk tolerance assessed, and then we craft a blend of our four models aligned with their personal values, targeted risk aversion and long-term investing goals. Our primary investment objective is actively managing downside risk, which we refer to as “drawdown”. By avoiding the life-altering effects of major drawdowns, prudent long-term growth may become a reality over a multi-year horizon with the benefit of basic compounding. By consistently managing drawdown through our model blending process, clients can pursue personal interests feeling more secure about tomorrow, and not worrying about a down day on Wall Street.
