Gene N. Sahr purchased Roth Brothers Building Products in 1977. Sahr Building Supply, Inc. started with three employees and has grown to 27 employees in the same location in Kalamazoo, and a similar location in Lansing. Sahr is a distributor of commercial doors, frames, and door hardware. Sahr is a member of the Kalamazoo County Chamber of Commerce, Kalamazoo Northside Business Association, National Federation of Independent Business, American Subcontractors Association, and Door and Hardware Institute.
