Realizing the Dream of a Better Salon Experience
Salons by JC was founded in 1997 by Jack Griffey & Cecil Miller. Jack’s wife, Elke, who worked as a hairstylist, went to work one day and the salon was shut down without notice. While Elke was looking for another job, Jack and Cecil took the concept where you lease individual suites to multiple salons and beauty industry professionals, and so, Salons by JC was born.

Jack and Cecil opened the first SBJC location in Dallas, Texas, with a commitment to ongoing premium service via a full-time Concierge and empowering salon owners to start their businesses

Salons by JC has nearly 200 locations in over 26 states and Canada with plans to open over 100 more in coming years.
