Salt Lake Acting Company is a nonprofit performing arts organization based in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a history spanning more than five decades. It produces a year-round season featuring regional and world premieres, while also nurturing professional artists and emerging playwrights through commissions, development work, and production support. As a core member of the National New Play Network, SLAC focuses on creating and presenting new plays and maintains arts education programs for Utah students from kindergarten through university. The organization operates under a Small Professional Theatre contract with Actors' Equity Association and serves a regional audience of more than 37,000, including about 3,000 season subscribers, while supporting more than 150 professional theatre artists annually. In January 2024, SLAC announced a collaboration with Flying Bobcat Theatrical Laboratory to present a production in its Chapel Theater.
