SALT is an acronym for Service And Love Together and non-profit organization that aims to share Christ’s love by serving the unsheltered through comprehensive mobile drop-in centers. Our vision is that every metropolitan area in the US has a comprehensive drop-in center for people experiencing homelessness.

SALT’s purpose is to provide a mobile, comprehensive, front-door for people experiencing homelessness in every community.

Our locations currently include downtown Orlando, Sanford, Pine Hills, Bithlo, Apopka, Tampa, Daytona, Lake County, and San Diego.

SALT is known for delivering its day services in mobile form, which includes shower trailers, laundry trailers, clothing & hygiene trailer, and a mental health counseling trailer. SALT also provides charging stations, mail services, storage services, food, haircuts, case management, and spiritual care.

In 2023, SALT served 3,089 unduplicated people with over 80,000 services and resources. 27% of those served transitioned to case management. 312 of those served, after services with SALT, transitioned to housing either through SALT Case Management or through one of our partners.

SALT’s case management team helped directly end homelessness for 77 people in 2023. Currently, the team is ending homelessness for 2 to 3 people per week.
