SAM GARCIA ARCHITECT is an architectural practice based in McAllen, Texas, founded by Sam Garcia, AIA.  The practice exists to take architecture and development in the Rio Grande Valley to new levels by creating urban design solutions focused on fostering high levels of social interaction and land use intensity.  This is based on a deep commitment to provide exceptional services as a visionary architecture studio and development think-tank.
 
Sam’s career began with work in a nationally recognized architecture firm, followed by an immersion into the field of transit-oriented urban design, and an ongoing commitment to researching and understanding leading edge architecture and construction practices in contemporary and historic settings throughout the world.
 
In 2008, Sam returned to the Rio Grande Valley, where he was raised, to reconnect with family, friends, and the community he loves.  In addition to becoming a licensed architect before the age of 30, he has become a recognized leader, both in the nonprofit groups he actively participates in and by being a visionary who has spoken publicly on numerous occasions about the future of metropolitan South Texas.
 
Bringing over 12 years of professional experience in production/project management for Medical, Educational, Municipal, Federal, Mixed-Use Urban, Commercial, Residential and Religious projects, SAM GARCIA ARCHITECT is able to lead the design and implemen-tation of a wide variety of building/development types.
