SanAir Technologies Laboratory, Inc. is a full-service, environmental testing laboratory offering analytical and consulting services. SanAir specializes in detecting and identifying airborne and bulk asbestos, fungus and bacteria (direct examination/culturable – air, bulk and surface), lead (airborne dust, settled dust by wipe, paint and soil), Legionella, and heavy metals and materials testing (including carbon black and soot analysis). 

In addition, our Specialty Environmental Testing Division focuses exclusively on the analysis of air and gases. Our areas of expertise include LEED® Green Building Testing and Consulting, Vapor Intrusion Testing, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Testing, Soil Vapor Analysis, Industrial Hygiene Sampling and Analysis, and Personal / Area Air Monitoring. 

SanAir is accredited by the AIHA Laboratory Accreditation Programs, LLC, and participates in the environmental microbiology & lead, industrial hygiene and asbestos proficiency analytical testing program (EMPAT #162952, inclusive of bacteria, fungi, lead and asbestos). The Company is also accredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) for Airborne Asbestos Fiber Analysis (TEM) and Bulk Asbestos Fiber Analysis (PLM). Our Specialty Environmental Testing Division is nationally accredited by NELAC and AIHA LAP and holds environmental air laboratory certifications.

SanAir also participates in the state of New York’s DOH ELAP program (Lab ID 11983, inclusive of Asbestos, Lead and Legionella). Please refer to our website for a current list of our accredited Fields of Testing.

SanAir is accredited by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Environmental Legionella Isolation Techniques Evaluation (ELITE) for Environmental Legionella Analysis. We offer Legionella analysis by culture with confirmation and speciation by Direct Immunofluorescence (DFA). Salmonella, MRSA and other waterborne pathogens analyses are also available.
