Vanessa Sanchez graduated from Southwestern Law School and has been a member of the California Bar since 2013. Ms. Sanchez exclusively practices immigration and nationality law. She prepares and assists clients with a wide range of cases including applications for U.S. citizenship, family-based immigrant visa petitions, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), immigrant and nonimmigrant waivers of inadmissibility, and petitions for special immigrant visas such as Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), U visa, and Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). Her practice also consists of analyzing immigration consequences of U.S. and foreign criminal convictions. Her past experience at a prominent private firm included handling family-based immigration matters, as well as immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions for individuals of extraordinary ability in the arts and business. Additionally, she has successfully represented clients in removal proceedings in immigration court.

Ms. Sanchez currently serves as the Pro Bono Co-Liaison for the Southern California Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Ms. Sanchez previously served as 5th Grade Essay Contest Co-Liaison and Law Student Co-Liaison for the AILA Southern California Chapter.


Ms. Sanchez is fluent in both Spanish and English.
