Sankofa Psychological Services, LLC, is a treatment center in Chicago to provide assessment and therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, group counseling, psychological assessment testing, and executive coaching.  Throughout these various types of treatments, our aim is to help foster healing and self-development consistent with clients’ goals. Located on the Magnificent Mile in the heart of downtown Chicago, Sankofa Psychological Services provides patients in the Chicago area with a place to retreat, reflect, and refocus.

Sankofa Psychological Services uses contemporary theory and research as the basis of the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Sankofa Psychological Services specializes in Traumatic Loss, Trauma, Couples/Relationship Issues, Bereavement, Conflict at Work, Living with HIV/AIDS, Family Conflict, Child and Adolescent Acting Out/Aggression, Blending Families, and issues facing the LGBT Community. 

Mental disorders treated at Sankofa Psychological Services include Depression, Anxiety, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Addiction, Obsessive-compulsive disorder, Bipolar Disorder, child/adult ADHD, and a number of childhood disorders including but not limited to ADHD, Asperger’s Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Elimination Disorders, Separation Anxiety, and Reactive Attachment Disorder.
