Santa Catalina School is an independent Catholic boarding and day school for girls in grades 9 through 12, located in Monterey, California. It serves a diverse student body with strong local roots and supports learning across the classroom, on athletic fields, on stage, and in dormitories. The curriculum includes a marine ecology program that leverages Monterey Bay to enrich science education. In the upper school, about 230 girls are enrolled, with roughly 133 boarding students and 97 day students, and the school reports an average class size of 13 and a 7:1 student-teacher ratio.
