Saputo Dairy Australia produces, markets and distributes a wide range of high quality dairy products in Australia and for international markets, including cheese, fluid milk, extended shelf-life milk and cream products, cultured products and dairy ingredients.

In May 2018 we acquired the activities of Murray Goulburn Co-operative Co. Ltd to become the largest dairy processor in Australia. This followed our acquisition of Australia’s oldest dairy processor, Warrnambool Cheese and Butter, in 2014. The union of these two iconic dairy companies brings together some of Australia’s best loved dairy brands including COON, Cracker Barrel*, Devondale, Liddells, MilLel and Sungold.

We are part of the Saputo Inc. group, one of the top ten dairy processors in the world, the largest cheese manufacturer and the leading fluid milk and cream processor in Canada and the second largest in Argentina. In the USA, Saputo ranks among the top three cheese producers and is one of the largest producers of extended shelf-life and cultured dairy products. Our products are sold in several countries under well-known brand names such as Saputo, Alexis de Portneuf, Armstrong, Dairyland, DairyStar, Friendship Dairies, Frigo Cheese Heads, La Paulina, Milk2Go/Lait’s Go, Montchevre, Neilson, Nutrilait, Scotsburn*, Stella, Treasure Cave and Woolwich Dairy.
