Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) operates as a regional cultural venue in upstate New York, hosting a wide array of live performances across the performing arts spectrum. The organization supports an acoustically renowned amphitheatre within Spa State Park and presents summer programs featuring major ensembles such as the New York City Ballet, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, along with chamber music, jazz, rock, pop, opera, and events like the Saratoga Wine & Food Festival. In addition to presenting performances, SPAC oversees the National Museum of Dance, contributing to the cultural ecosystem of the Hudson Valley, Vermont, the Berkshires, Connecticut, and nearby Canadian communities, and expanding access through initiatives like inclusive programs at its SPAC School of the Arts. The center serves diverse audiences—families, longtime patrons, and newcomers—by offering a broad slate of artistic offerings in a single regional hub. Recent developments include partnerships and program expansions, such as a collaboration with Stewart’s Shops to introduce a limited-edition ice cream flavor inspired by SPAC traditions, reflecting ongoing efforts to broaden engagement while maintaining its core performing arts mission.
