The South Carolina State Housing Finance and Development Authority (SC Housing) is the state agency that finances and supports affordable housing opportunities for South Carolina. Since 1971, SC Housing has financed more than 41,000 affordable homes, totaling $2.62 billion. We have also funded thousands of multifamily units across the state.

The mission of our agency is to create quality affordable housing opportunities for the citizens of South Carolina. Our vision is that all South Carolinians have the opportunity to live in safe, decent, and affordable housing.
