After 25 years of expanding access to justice through technology and collaboration, Pro Bono Net is becoming Scale Justice in March 2026. Our new name reflects our evolution, mission, and the scale of impact we've achieved with our justice community partners. Our Mission We create digital tools and partnerships that help millions of people navigate the law, access justice, and live more secure lives. Who are we? We are the country's leading nonprofit access to justice innovator with a 25-year history of impact. What drives us? Each year, more than 55 million Americans experience a civil legal issue impacting their basic needs. Three in five people – and 92% of those living on low incomes – are unable to afford or access the legal help they need. We believe no one should face losing their safety, family, home, or livelihood because justice is out of reach. Each state website contains free legal self-help resources and information about how to find nonprofit legal aid organizations in your area.
