Based in Peoria, Arizona, bioLight Group operates as a nonprofit research organization through its program Science of Light (SOL). Its leadership is led by Ken Ceder, a former co-director of Hippocrates Health Institute, who founded OTT Light Systems in 1988 after collaborating with Dr. John Ott, the pioneer of full-spectrum light technology. In 2012, after selling the Ott trademark, Ceder repurposed bioLight Group as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on SOL.
