GulfCoast Business Finance (GBF) is one of seven CDCs in Florida and one of 263 CDCs total. GBF was established in 1982 and certified by the SBA as a CDC (“Certified Development Corporation”), allowing us to underwrite SBA 504 loans anywhere within the State of Florida. GBF’s status with the SBA has been elevated to Priority CDC for loan closings, granting us expedited closing privileges in addition to participation in liquidations if necessary. This distinguished certification acknowledges BF’s proven expertise and results in more streamlined closings and customer service.
