Seguin Independent School District is located 30 minutes east of San Antonio and 50 minutes southwest of Austin in the growing community of Seguin in Central Texas. Seguin ISD is the largest school district in Guadalupe County and encompasses 365 square miles. It serves approximately 7,000 pre-kindergarten through twelfth-grade students and employs more than 1,000 staff including 466 teachers.

Seguin ISD is home to Ball Early Childhood Center, seven elementary schools (Jefferson, Koennecke, McQueeney, Patlan, Rodriguez, Vogel, and Weinert), two middle schools ( Briesemeister and Barnes 6th-8th grade), Seguin High School, Mercer-Blumberg Learning Center and Seguin Alternative School.

During the 2021-22 school year, 475 students graduated from Seguin High Schoo. These students earned more than 1 Million dollars in scholarship awards. 

Seguin ISD is part of District 14-5A which includes Buda Johnson, Comal Canyon, Dripping Springs, Kyle Lehman, SA Veterans Memorial, SA Harlandale and SA McCollum high schools.
