Donald Solow and the late Herbert Seigle founded Seigle Solow Horne Architects over forty years ago.  In 1987, the collaboration grew to include Stuart Horne, and it has continued to produce architecture that reflects sound design philosophy, responds to the surrounding environment, and respects our clients’ aesthetics and needs.  

The foundation of success for SSH is our design team’s vast experience and unceasing energy, our knowledge of history and our ability to interpret it in creative ways, and our solid technical skills.  However, our greatest strength is the relationship we form and maintain with our clients.  As we work closely with each of them on their projects, we listen and we guide both new and returning clients through each step of the design process, interpreting and supporting their ideas, and challenging them to think both within and outside of the box to create exquisite, exciting, and enduring homes.  Throughout, we remain committed to quality, to budget, and to schedule, to ensure that the client’s needs and desires are accommodated.  The result is incredible architecture and the priceless bonus of close, lasting friendships.
