MechaCon is an anime convention that brings together anime, Transformers, and Japanese culture. Its first 5 years took place in Lafayette, LA. In year 6 we moved to New Orleans, LA due to growth. This year's convention will be our 7th, and we'll have even more content than ever.

MechaCon features a Semi-formal Dinner and Opening Ceremonies, a Formal / Cosplay-Optional Ball, panels, signings with anime Voice Actors and other special industry guests, Cosplay Contest, Electronic gaming room and tournaments, MechCorps Battletech Pods, Tabletop gaming, Video Rooms, a huge Dealer's Room, Artists Alley, Neko Neko Host Club, MechaCon House Party, Sleeping Samurai LARP, Cosplay Chess, a Charity Auction to benefit Child's Play, AMV contest and more!
