Sensiotec has developed the Virtual Medical Assistant® (VMA), the world’s first truly remote, totally noncontact, cardiorespiratory patient monitoring platform. Recalling the StarTrek Tricorder, the VMA provides critical spot and trend data continuously to a nurse’s station, tablet, smartphone or pager without electrodes touching the patient or pads requiring contact with a mattress or other surface.
