Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative is a member-owned electric utility based in South Pittsburg, in southeast Tennessee. Founded in 1939, it operates and maintains a distribution network of more than 3,000 miles of line that serves the majority of Bledsoe, Sequatchie, Marion and Grundy counties, with service extending into five additional counties. The cooperative supplies electricity to its member-owners across these communities, supporting residential and communal infrastructure needs. In early 2025, the cooperative participated in the 12th annual Wild Game Safety Luncheon, illustrating involvement in local community events. As a regional utility, it serves member-owners by maintaining and operating its electric distribution network across the designated counties.
