In 1976 our owner and president, Clarence Smith, quit a promising career with Sherwin Williams and started a small paint subcontracting business out of the basement of his home. As the business matured he moved into drywall systems, ceilings, and floors. Over the next 30 years Clarence went on to build a company that regularly does millions in annual sales and is now housed in a 14,000 square foot facility on 2 acres in the Pulaski County Corporate Center. Specializing in a variety interior and exterior finishes we hold class A licenses in Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina and are SWAM (Small Women and Minority owned) certified in Virginia.
 
Our strong beliefs in honest, responsible business practices and keeping the client’s best interest at heart has given us the privilege of working with some of the premier designers and builders on both a local and national level. Our management team has over 100 years of combined experience in the construction industry. This allows us the pleasure of assisting in an extremely diverse array of projects ranging from residential remodeling and construction to large multi-million dollar commercial, state and government projects. Shopping centers, prisons, schools, dormitories, hospitals, performing arts facilities, laboratories, office buildings, churches, rehabilitation's….we have experience in nearly all project types.
