The University of the South is home to one of the nation's top liberal arts colleges, a School of Letters, and a seminary of the Episcopal Church. Often known simply as "Sewanee," the University offers an unmatched educational experience. The University remains purposefully small and dedicated to building a sense of community. The University is located atop the Cumberland Plateau between Nashville and Chattanooga, Tenn.
