Shadmoor Advisors, Inc. is a boutique operational due diligence (O.D.D.) consulting firm recognized for its deep expertise in operational due diligence across the alternative investment landscape. Founded in 2014 by Michael Merrigan, Shadmoor serves a global client base of 60+ institutional allocators, placement agents, and investment managers. Our team, headquartered in Southport, Connecticut with a satellite office in New York City, is composed of senior professionals with decades of experience in alternative investments and operational oversight.

We operate under a co-sourced model, working as an extension of our clients’ organizations to deliver hands-on, high-touch O.D.D. services. This collaborative approach enables deeper engagement, more relevant insights, and stronger alignment with our clients’ risk management goals. 

Shadmoor focuses exclusively on operational due diligence. Our services include initial and ongoing operational due diligence reviews, as well as tailored consulting services. This may include mock O.D.D. reviews, operational best practice guidance, and support with policies and documentation. We do not distribute standardized reports or provide investment recommendations—our work is confidential, independent, and aligned with each client’s objectives.
