Shaggy's Restaurants is a family-friendly restaurant group focused on offering seafood-inspired and casual dining experiences across multiple waterfront locations in the Gulf Coast region. The menu emphasizes fresh gulf seafood along with burgers, sandwiches, beverages, and other casual fare, aiming to provide a place for community and leisure near the water. The company serves guests at five indoor/outdoor venues in Pass Christian (MS), Biloxi Beach (MS), Pensacola Beach (FL), Gulfport Beach (MS), and a location referred to as on the Rez, reflecting a coastal, recreational dining concept. Based in Mississippi, Shaggy's operates with a relatively large team to support dining and hospitality services while pursuing community engagement through programs like The Shaggy's Kids Foundation and collaborative education initiatives with local partners. Acknowledgments in recent years include regional awards for seafood, casual dining, outdoor dining, and overall excellence, alongside activities such as youth fishing camps and partnerships with educational and research institutions. In addition to daily service, the company has announced partnerships and community outreach efforts, including a collaboration with Gulf Coast Research Laboratory’s Marine Education Center to offer an angler camp for teens.
