Metal Expertise Shickel Corporation has a long-standing focus on design, fabrication, and installation of custom metal products with over 75 years in the industry, suggesting strong capability for complex metal projects and potential upsell into higher-margin custom work.

SME Scale With 51-200 employees and revenue in the 1M-10M range, there is likely ongoing capacity to take on mid-sized metal fabrication projects, offering an opportunity to position Shickel as a reliable partner for regional contractors and developers.

Construction Synergy As a construction-focused metal specialist, Shickel can be targeted for segments requiring integrated design-build or supplier-of-record roles, particularly for metal façades, structural components, and custom enclosures on commercial and industrial builds.

Digital Tools Usage of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and other industry tools indicates readiness for BIM-friendly workflows and digital collaboration, enabling streamlined proposals, prefabrication, and on-site installation coordination.

Growth Fit Comparable firms in the sector show higher revenues but similar employee counts; Shickel could pursue strategic partnerships or preferred supplier programs with larger metal systems and building envelope companies to expand project scope and revenue.
