Since 1932, Shives Funeral Home has prided itself as being a leader in service to families of Columbia from all walks of life. Over the years, Shives Funeral Home has seen the city change and grow, yet our commitment to outstanding service and caring for people has never changed.  

The funeral home, built in a beautiful, colonial style, is located near downtown Columbia with a new location on the Trenholm Road Extension that opened in late 2014. Families come to us because they know we are dedicated to excellence in service and have the highest integrity.  We treat all families as if they are a part of ours.

Today, the funeral home is owned and operated by J. Kelcey Dickinson and Robert (Bobby) Raines. They, along with the caring and highly experienced funeral home staff, provide the families of the Midlands with dignified and personal funeral services that honor and celebrate the lives of their loved ones.
