SHOFNER CONSULTING originated in 1993 as a company through which its owner, Walter C. Shofner, could provide personal technical consulting services to the Home Office Life Insurance industry, one client at a time. In the fall of 1994, the purpose of the company was broadened so the owner's experience and knowledge of the industry could be leveraged to provide the same service to more than one client at a time. Our key strength is is our ability to retain and offer highly skilled technical resources who specialize in specific insurance administration software packages widely used in the industry. We offer these services at a substantially lower price than our competitors.
