In 1966, Eugene and Elizabeth Siefker founded the La Porte Tape & Wire Company. In 1977, as the company became more focused on the amusement and entertainment segments of their customer base, the firm was incorporated and changed its name to Showmen Supplies, Inc. With the passing of Mr. Siefker in 1991, management of the company was assumed by his sons, Mark and Scott Siefker.
 
We occupy a 125,000 sq/ft warehouse and office complex located near downtown in La Porte, Indiana. At the La Porte warehouse, we stock a large volume of specialty electrical, lighting and power distribution equipment that we ship to customers throughout North America. 
 
La Porte is situated just 60 miles east of Chicago at the southwestern corner of Lake Michigan. Geographically, this puts us within a short 2-day delivery window for customers in Northern Minnesota, the Gulf Coast, Upstate New York and South Carolina.
