The Galleries of Remembrance house over 800 historical artefacts, artworks, and personal effects, providing a powerful connection to Australia’s military history.

Set within a 13-hectare Reserve, the Shrine features the Eternal Flame, a breathtaking balcony view of Melbourne, and the weekly Last Post Service, held every Sunday at 4.45pm. Free entry and guided tours make it accessible to all.

Proudly recognised as Australia’s leading cultural tourism destination, the Shrine was awarded Gold at the 2024 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards – Cultural Tourism.
