SHUKR is an Arabic word found in the Qur’an which means gratitude or thanks. God mentions in the Qur’an: "If you give thanks (shukr), I shall certainly increase you" (Qur’an 14:7). The company SHUKR was named as a means of reminding ourselves and others of this important Qur’anic word and principle.
