SIBU is many things. First and foremost we are a global grower, producer, and distributor of sea buckthorn raw materials. We supply more sea buckthorn oil around the globe than any other company in our hemisphere. Second, we formulate, distribute, and market our own consumer brands, the flagship being "SIBU Sea Berry Therapy". We own our supply from shrub to bottle. The sea buckthorn supply around the world is largely adulterated due to demand, price, and scarcity. Unfortunately, the majority of it is sourced from China where there are few safeguards in place to protect the integrity of raw materials. Even some USDA Organic certified oil is clearly adulterated when tested at our lab. Our sea buckthorn is hand harvested from wild-grown sea buckthorn plants in the high Himalayan valleys of the Tibetan cultural region of India where we have set-up local cooperatives to harvest and pre-process the berries for transport. Our oils are extracted using only Super-critical CO2 methods to ensure purity and potency. All of our end-products are produced in the USA. SIBU's signature "T7" sea buckthorn oil is guaranteed and triple-tested to be pure, organic, clean (ultra-low peroxide, plasticizer levels, etc). Our sea buckthorn fruit oil will have a guaranteed 40%+ Omega 7 while most of our competition that we test shows anywhere from 0-25% Omega 7 and often no DNA that can be linked to sea buckthorn at all.
