Silicon Valley Social Ventures Fund (SV2) is a community of values-aligned donors. We are deeply committed to equity-centered social impact. We do this through collaborative grantmaking, impact investing, and immersive learning.For over 25 years, SV2 has been a trusted social innovation leader for shared learning and action. Impact Investing SV2 invests in early-stage companies with social or environmental impact at their core, with a focus on founders from underrepresented backgrounds. We seek three kinds of return: social or environmental impact, financial performance, and “return on learning” — as Partners learn by hearing pitches, conducting diligence, and allocating pooled capital. Immersive Learning Through workshops, cohorts, and experiences, SV2 Partners deepen their understanding of equity, philanthropy, and impact investing, growing as values-driven givers and changemakers.
