SiliDog was founded in 2014 by a University of Florida Master’s student (Go Gators!) and his rescue dog. The beaten and abused pup was thrown from a car on the highway, fostered, then adopted by SiliDog’s Founder, Mikey Lickstein. After getting the dog his first pet tag, the dog’s constant scratching scratched away the metal tag’s engraving information, making it ugly and illegible.
