Silverback Films is a Bristol-based media production company focused on creating high-quality wildlife programming for television and cinema. Founded in 2012, it brings together a team of experienced wildlife filmmakers to develop natural history films. The company works across global environments—from oceans and mountains to forests and deserts—delivering in-depth portrayals of wildlife.

Its projects have earned recognition across major industry awards, including BAFTA, Emmy, RTS, Grierson, and Wildscreen Panda. A notable recent milestone is the global Netflix release of a documentary on Rwanda's mountain gorillas, produced in collaboration with Appian Way, the Rwanda Development Board, and the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund.
