Since opening the first studio in what was the former flour silo of the landmark Silvercup Bakery in 1983 Silvercup Studios quickly established itself as the largest, independent, full-service film and television production facility in northeastern United States.

Located at 42-22 22nd Street in Long Island City the main lot comprises of a total of 13 shooting stages with both roof and loft space available. The stages range in size from 3,000 to 18,000 sq ft with grid heights up to 36’. East Lot which is located at 34-02 Starr Avenue, Long Island City holds five 16,000 sq ft studios and one 9,400 sq ft studio with grid heights of 28'. Established in the Summer of 2016 the newest lot Silvercup North located at 295 Locust avenue in the South Bronx holds 4 stages which range from 8,800 sq ft to 17,500 sq ft with the highest grid heights of all three lots at 50’. 

All facilities offer on-site production office space with extensive set, prop and wardrobe storage. Both main and east lots are conveniently located minutes away from Midtown Manhattan near the Queens Midtown Tunnel and the Queensboro 59th Street Bridge.  In addition to providing production facilities, Silvercup Studios has a fully-equipped on-site lighting and grip department as well as a lumber yard with paint, hardware and other set-building supplies available to clients. Silvercup Studios affiliated location lighting company Silvertrucks also provides a full complement of lighting/grip equipment and generators.
