Silvercup Studios operates a multi-site film and television production facility network in New York City, providing sound stages, equipment rental, production offices, and on-site lighting. The company began in 1983 with a studio housed in a former flour silo and has since expanded to three NYC locations near Midtown Manhattan. The main Long Island City site houses 13 stages sized from about 3,000 to 18,000 square feet with grid heights up to 36 feet, while the adjacent East Lot adds additional large studios and the Silvercup North site in the South Bronx adds four stages. The facilities include on-site lighting and grip support and a lumber yard with set-building supplies, along with extensive storage for sets, props, and wardrobes to support production workflows. In 2022, Silvercup Studios announced a collaboration with Wildflower Studios to join the western Queens production cluster as Wildflower progresses its project.
