Simply the Basics is the first large-scale Hygiene Bank in the nation, dedicated to advancing health equity by ensuring everyone has access to essential hygiene.

Our mission is to provide basic needs to individuals, communities, and organizations so they can focus on their goals, whether that's housing, employment, education, or recovery.

Through our Hygiene Bank model, we supply high-quality hygiene products to nonprofits and community partners serving low-income and unhoused individuals. We also reduce waste by redistributing surplus supplies to where they’re most needed.

More than just providing products, we promote feelings of dignity, choice, and well-being by removing the dehumanization of handouts and restoring the confidence that comes with good hygiene.
