Simulaids is a U.S.-based manufacturer of medical training aids used in the Hospitals and Health Care sector, including trauma moulage and patient-simulation tools. The company began in 1963 in Woodstock, producing trauma moulage products for EMS practice and later expanding to CPR mannequins, silicone intubation heads, and other training devices. In 2006, it built an 83,000-square-foot facility in Saugerties, New York. Today, Simulaids offers patient simulators controlled by the iPad and ships most orders within five days. ALEX, introduced in 2018, added speech recognition and a high-definition camera to its training tools.
