Since 1997, Siva Corrosion Services (SCS), Inc. has served many Departments of Transportation and private clients. Siva Venugopalan, founder of SCS, Inc., has over 20 years of experience in the field of materials and corrosion engineering and has published numerous technical papers in professional engineering societies. SCS engineers have necessary certifications such as Cathodic Protection Specialist and Corrosion Technologist certifications by NACE International. SCS is regularly involved in various technical meetings and committees, such as: American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), American Concrete Institute (ACI), Bridge Preservation Association (BPA), American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM), and American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE). SCS engineers are also retained as experts in cases where material performance is an issue. SCS's mission is to preserve and extend the service life of infrastructure cost effectively.
