Dr. Yardy Tse is founder of SkinCare Physicians & Surgeons in beautiful San Diego, California where her practice specializes in laser and cosmetic surgery and Mohs surgery.  Dr. Tse strongly believes that healthy skin care habits start early in life. “As we age,” she says, “We experience a variety of skin changes. Moisture levels drop resulting in dryness and rough, uneven texture, collagen is depleted often as a result of sun damage – and jowls and sagging eyelids become a part of the aging process.” Whatever the challenge, Dr. Tse’s practice offers a multitude of laser therapies and minimally invasive treatment options to produce the most natural results. Dr. Tse’s patients take great comfort in knowing that she personally performs these procedures. “The best compliment I can get is when my patients’ friends ask them if they’ve been on vacation because they look so well rested,” she says. 

Dr. Tse is also highly regarded among both physicians and patients for her expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer.  As a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery, Dr. Tse has extensive training in this highly specialized surgery. She is proficient in all aspects of this procedure, including anesthesia, anatomy, surgery, pathology and reconstruction. Dr. Tse has written numerous articles and lectured extensively on skin cancer and Mohs surgery. Along with her artistic eye, Dr. Tse uses precision and surgical techniques to remove the least amount of normal tissue in order to achieve the most aesthetic outcome. “Each reconstruction is highly individualized,” she says. “My patients are seeking the best possible cosmetic result and require guidance through the healing process.” 

Dr. Tse is passionate about her practice and dedicated to the future of dermatology. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Dermatology at UCSD School of Medicine, where she volunteers and teaches dermatologic surgery to residents and medical students.
