Slidell Memorial Hospital is a 331-bed acute care community hospital with two campuses in Slidell, Louisiana, providing access to modern treatments and specialized physicians. Since 2013, it expanded its Emergency Department and opened the SMH Heart Center to meet population growth, adding emergency beds and specialized cardiac rooms. The hospital houses a Regional Cancer Center—the only facility of its kind in East St. Tammany—alongside a Multidisciplinary Clinic, and it supports outpatient rehabilitation with LSVT-BIG therapy for Parkinson's and similar conditions. In 2016, Slidell Memorial Hospital formed a long-term strategic partnership with Ochsner Health System to sustain high-quality care, expand local access, and coordinate resources. The collaboration has introduced new services and specialists, including cancer clinical trials, an additional Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and 24/7 on-call heart surgery, along with robot-assisted surgery and other specialty clinics.
