Touro Infirmary is New Orleans' only community based, not-for-profit, faith-based adult acute care hospital. Touro employs more than 1,880 employees and credentials more than 570 physicians in more than 60 medical specialties and subspecialties.

Touro is a teaching hospital offering medical student and post graduate medical training. Touro has academic affiliations with Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and Tulane University Health Science Center, offering training programs to hundreds of students, residents and fellows annually in  a variety of specialties. 

Touro is a proud member of  LCMC Health, a Louisiana-based, not-for-profit hospital system serving the healthcare needs of the Gulf Coast region. LCMC currently manages award-winning community hospitals including Children’s Hospital, Touro, New Orleans East Hospital, Interim LSU Hospital and the new University Medical Center.
