Slider Engineering Group, Inc. (SEG) is a Florida Corporation principally engaged in the practice of structural consulting engineering.  Mr. Slider was a founding partner of the former JLSD consulting engineering firm, established in 1991 and was responsible for the structural engineering effort for the firm.  To allow for a more directed focus of structural engineering services, the entire structural group of the former JLSD was established as a separate structural firm of SEG in July of 2003.  All of the structural staff, projects and clients were maintained by SEG in conjunction with the transition.

SEG has experience in the analysis, design, and construction phases services for building systems for both the Public and Private Sector.  In addition to building designs, SEG has extensive experience the evaluation and assessment of existing structural systems.  Assignments have included condition assessments, building failures, determination of structural capacity, rehabilitation and strengthening of defective structural elements or from revised loading requirements, project design peer review and specialty structural modification and repair projects.

In conjunction with many of the projects, SEG services as the prime professional and has considerable demonstrated experience with cost analysis, forensic assistance, and project management for the successful completion of project.

SEG has over 29 years of experience providing engineering services with over 100 years of combined experience in building envelope engineering.
