SMART (School Members and Retired Teachers) Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit organization designed to meet the needs of ALL school employees and retired teachers in Franklin County and select surrounding counties.  SMART was established in 1952 by a local principal, Ms. Edna Windom, to bring local teachers the same banking needs a bank offers WITHOUT the unnecessary fees.  Today, over 60 years later, that vision still holds true.  We offer personal attention, answer phone calls without automated frustration, and provide you with the best service and consideration every school employee deserves.
