Smith Berger is owned by our employees. 
We design and manufactures mooring and towing equipment for all types of vessels. Our standard products include fairleads, deck sheaves, flag blocks, hanging blocks, chain stoppers, towing pins, stern rollers and shark jaws. Smith Berger Tow Pin/Stern Rollers are custom designed for each vessel to allow for easier and faster installations. Available configurations range from 2 to 4 having one or two Hold Down Hooks. The stern rollers (single or split) are integrally mounted within the tow pin frame. The Tow Pins are raised and lowered using marine grade hydraulic cylinders powered by a dedicated hydraulic power unit which is remotely controlled from the wheelhouse. 

Smith Berger Fairleads and Deck Sheaves are used for mooring all types of vessels. Standard products are available for 3/4" to 3" wire and chain, larger sizes are available upon request. The sheaves and swivelheads are fitted with grease lubricated tapered roller bearings and the wire rope grooves are hardened to reduce wear. Our conservative designs have proven to be the reliable choice for over 75 years.
