Smude Oil was founded in 2010 by Tom and Jenni Smude.  We started by producing bulk Cold-Pressed Sunflower Oil.  By utilizing a cold-pressing method of extraction there is no need for using chemicals or heat which can reduce natural flavors as well as nutrients in the oil.  We use only high oleic sunflower seeds to provide a healthy cooking oil with 0 trans fat, high in "good" monounsaturated fat, low in polyunsaturated fat and GMO free.  

In 2012 we expanded retail packaged Virgin Sunflower Oil and have since added variety of flavor infused products.  Our most recent addition is Microwave Popcorn that is produced using Smude Sunflower Oil and offers a delicious, healthy, and natural option for popcorn enthusiasts.
