Designer Carlos Sobral's colorful jewelry has been in the spotlight for many years. His hallmark is chic nacklace, bracelets, earrings and rings that are uniquely eye catching. Sobral creates fashion trends with eight new collections each year.

Each Sobral piece is crafted lovingly by hand in his workshop in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. made of a unique, light weight natural resin, the 8-step polishing process yeilds an exquisite finish that perfectly showcases his brilliant colors.

In recognition of Sobral's fierce sense of design and attention to quality, he has recieved the Etoile de Mode awards four times for best design at the famed BIJORHCA designer jewelry show in Paris. In 2006, he won the Best in Show award for his famed Pop Collection. Sobral has recently partnered with legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld to create a spectacular new line LAGERFELD by SOBRAL.

Sobral is a humanitarian. His 160 employees recieve meals, medical care and a retirement plan, which are rare employee benefits in Brazil. In addition, Sobral partners with the Museum of the Republic to train poor children in the art of making fashion jewelry.
