Soft-Aid is an independent consulting firm that helps organizations adopt software asset management (SAM) best practices.  We are frequently retained to assess an organization's existing SAM processes and compare them to industry best practices.  We are then charged with identifying gap-closing strategies and implementing these recommendations.

We examine every stage of software asset life, from procurement to retirement, looking for areas that can be streamlined.  We apply SAM frameworks that reflect industry best practices but are suitable for each organization; those policies include codes of conduct for purchasing, deploying, and using software.  We also can remedy software license compliance issues and implement systems to manage and track software assets and their associated benefits.  Ultimately, a company that deploys our services will make effective decisions on how software is purchased and utilized in their organization.
